In the heart of the Caribbean, Sky High Dominicana S.A. was born, an airline with a clear and bold vision: to raise Dominican aviation standards to the highest level of quality, service and safety. Founded in 2012, Sky High Dominicana began operations with the mission to connect the Caribbean islands, providing regional flights that not only carried passengers, but also dreams and hopes.

From its beginnings in Santo Domingo, the company has come a long way. What began as a small regional operation has blossomed into an expansive network that today links more than 20 destinations in the Caribbean, the U.S. and South America. This growth has been no accident, but the result of a tireless dedication to excellence and innovation in customer service.

Under the visionary leadership of its founder, Mr. Juan Chamizo, Sky High Dominicana has been able to combine efficiency and good service. The fleet of Embraer 190 aircraft is not only a symbol of modernity, but also of commitment to passenger satisfaction. Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) has become the main hub, from where every flight takes off with the seal of quality and safety that characterizes Sky High. Obtaining the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in 2012 was just the beginning. With additional certifications such as the North American FAA Part-129 and the European EASA, the company has demonstrated its ability to operate in territories with high regulatory requirements, both in North America and Europe.
